has been unavailable due to a c*ock
up by my hosting company show not only screwed the
data on the running server, but then screwed the data
on their tape backups as well. Just finished restoring
from my (secure) backups. Grrrr. |

Finally got around to bringing
the layout of one of my other sites more up to date.

Most of the work is just the header and footer graphics.
Still pretty simple, but this new layout is definitely

provided some interactivity to this home page by allowing

Added new site to my collection.
I went to a wedding recently and instead of a wedding
gift I decided to write them a photo
gallery website. The look and feel of the site was
dictated by the wedding invitation (designed by a friend
of the happy couple) and is integrated with the PhotoBox
print ordering services using the PrintButton API. I
also use flash detection for the first time using the
SWFObject
javascript method. |

Upgraded a whole bunch of bifterViewer
galleries to BananAlbum. Also updated existing BananAlbum
galleries so that the " "

icons are dynamically positioned relative to the bottom
right of the image. Allowed 'lazy loading' of the slide
images and introduced fade transitions. |

Updated my online
(HTML) and downloadable
versions of my CV. I got too much stick for the picture
on my old one, so that's gone. So has some of the fancier
formatting. Also added a few new skills and tidied up
some of the language. Basic is best. Content counts.

search engine's caches. |

show. Click again to pause. Also been on a weekend to

Launch of bifBlog
with the first couple of posts. A fair amount of work
has gone into the page to make it fit the shape and
style of the existing site. Work still needs to be done,
but it is now in a serviceable state. |

Major technical update. Re-implemented
Dreamweaver templates. All pages have had the new templates
applied. New template has extra menu buttons for bifBlog
and links pages (both coming
soon) and new 'quick links' added to the bottom of each
page. Expanded user of .css styles. Simplified creation
