I've just eaten an crispy aromatic duck pizza. I think that just about sums Hong Kong up. It's a strange, conflicting and confusing combination of East and West, but ultimately very tasty.
Been here almost two weeks now. Seems to have shot past. Last weekend I was invited to spend the evening on a junk in the harbour which was pretty spectacular. Most places look better from the water and HK is no exception. Especially at night.
Working here has proved difficult as I feel the need to be in the office at both ends of the day to cover UK and HK hours. Seeing as one starts as the other ends... it involves a lot of time in the office. As I've been told time and time again - Delegation is the key... yadda, yadda, yadda.
Other than that, the weather is good, the hotel's not bad, and the people I've met are all groovy.
Do any dodgy trades over there...
Be very careful who you accuse of what in the public domain.
And choose an Identity of 'Other' and supply a name when posting, ya chicken.
